(Active Nengdong, February 3, 2023) Recently, just one month after the signing of the Swangate project with a capacity of 50 MW/102 MWH in the UK, Tianhe Storage once again won more than 100 MWH energy storage orders in overseas markets. It will apply the liquid cooling system Trinastorage Elementa in the UK to build the first overseas optical storage project with a capacity of 25 MW/58 MW/58 MWh and a battery energy storage project that has joined forces again with SMS.
Trina Storage's new grid-grade liquid-cooled energy storage system TrinaStorage Elementa
“PV+energy storage” is a key direction to ensure the long-term and stable development of power grids. It is not only beneficial to improving grid stability, but also maximizing energy utilization and customer benefits. The UK previously formulated a climate strategy to “achieve a zero-carbon power system and net zero emissions by 2050”. Tianhe Energy Storage is on the mission of green energy transformation and development. Combining the TrinaStorage Elementa liquid cooling system with the original photovoltaic project at the construction site in central England will create the first overseas PV distribution and storage project with a capacity of 25 MW/58 MWh. After completion, the project will greatly enhance the flexibility and safety of the local power grid, becoming a vivid example of “integrated optical storage”.
