随着国内疫情防控政策不断优化调整，目前放开措施居家自检成为趋势。12月9日，国务院联防联控机制综合组印发新冠重点人群健康服务工作方案，其中提到，加强对基层医疗卫生机构的设备配备和升级改造。加快推进乡镇卫生院和社区卫生服务中心发热诊室(门诊)建设进度，2023年3月底前力争覆盖率提高到90%左右。完善设备配置，包括氧疗设备、便携式肺功能仪器、指夹式脉搏血氧仪、可穿戴健康监测设备等。

据悉，目前市面上的血氧仪一般可以用来监测脉搏、血氧饱和度、血流灌注指数等等，但主要是用来看血氧饱和度。《新型冠状病毒肺炎诊疗方案第九版》指出，血氧饱和度低于93%是重型患者的参考依据之一。对于新冠重点人群，血氧饱和度低于93%需及时就医。
据国家药品监督管理局数据，目前国内获有指夹式脉搏血氧仪产品批文的企业有24家。在淘宝、京东等平台上，血氧仪的主要品牌包括康泰、鱼跃、贝瑞、欧姆龙、九安等，价格几十元到上百元不等，不少品牌已经卖断货，进入了预售模式，短则付款3天后、长则要明年元旦后才能发货。根据京东健康12月13日提供的数据显示，近一周，该平台血氧仪成交额环比上周增长272%，12月12日当天血氧仪成交额同比增长超过41倍。
上市公司康泰医学为血氧仪的主要生产商之一。其相关负责人表示，过去几年，公司的血氧仪产品主要销往国外，因为血氧仪在国外家庭中就跟血压计、血糖仪一样普及。然而近期，血氧仪产品的国内市场需求激增。针对公司血氧仪产品出现库存消化过快的情况，部分型号已调整为临时预售模式，公司正加班加点生产以保证订单及时交付。
中航证券此前指出，关注新冠居家治疗产业链的供需演绎。申银万国证券也表示，关注防疫板块高景气!看好“医院建设”和“居家防护”双投券资主线。
