According to the Zhitong Finance App, AstraZeneca Finance (08333) issued an announcement that the share merger will take effect on December 21, 2022 (Wednesday). Consolidated share trading on the Stock Exchange will commence at 9:00 a.m. on December 21, 2022 (Wednesday).

As a result of the share merger and the share option plan, the number of consolidated shares to be issued as a result of the exercise of unexercised share options will be adjusted to 6.8 million shares as a result of the effective date of the share merger. The exercise price for each consolidated share is HK$0.96.
