According to data released by the China Automobile Association, production and sales reached 2.386 million and 2.328 million respectively in November, down 8.2 per cent and 7.1 per cent respectively, with an average annual decline of 7.9 per cent. Compared with last year and the year before last, automobile production and sales are slightly weak, and there is no phenomenon of tail warping at the end of previous years.

In the first 11 months of this year, automobile production and sales completed 24.628 million and 24.302 million respectively, an annual increase of 6.1% and 3.3% respectively. The growth rate in the first 11 months was significantly lower than that in the first 10 months, and 1.8 and 1.3 percentage points lower than that in the first 10 months respectively.

In November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in the mainland completed 768000 and 786000 respectively, an annual increase of 65.6 per cent and 72.3 per cent respectively, with a market share of 33.8 per cent.

In the first 11 months of this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 6.253 million and 6.067 million respectively, with an average annual increase of 25 per cent and a market share of 25 per cent.
