According to the Macao Daily report, some Macao councillors pointed out that many gambling staff members will be laid off, paid or retired early under the economic downturn of the staff or satellite workers. Li Jieqiang, Secretary for Economic and Economic Affairs of the Macao Special Administrative region, said that ensuring the employment of gambling employees is the government's top priority and the government's bottom line, but now that only gambling licences are awarded, there are procedures such as formal award and contract negotiation. I hope everyone is "not in such a hurry".
Li Jiechong said that the most signed gambling contract will list the outstanding satellite sites, but it will not be announced until after the contract has been signed. On the other hand, requiring enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities, including ensuring the right to labor, staff training and promoting upward mobility, will, as always, do a good job in the investment (contract) before and after. As for satellite workers, the staff assigned to satellite venues by the awarding companies must be withdrawn and arranged, and the minimum standard for satellite workers employed by satellite operators is to ensure that labor rights and interests are not affected.
In addition, with regard to the situation of non-gaming elements, Li pointed out that it could not be announced until after the signing of the contract, hoping that non-gaming elements would form a new board in the future and work with the gaming industry to enhance the competitiveness of Macao, so that Macao could have better development in the next decade.
