00406.HK announced that in the six months ended September 30, 2022, the company recorded revenue of HK $3.11 billion, which was basically the same as the same period last year. The profit during the period was HK $21.615 million, down 51.67 per cent from the same period last year. Basic and diluted earnings per share are approximately HK5.12 cents. An interim dividend of HK2.50 cents per common share is declared.

The overall gross margin in the first half of the year was 8 per cent, compared with 8.7 per cent in the same period last year. The decline in gross profit margin of mechanical and electrical installation was due to the start of many new projects during the period, while profits in the early stages were usually small.
