(Mitsubishi Electric) released the final report of the investigation committee composed of external experts on a series of inspection violations on the 20th.It was revealed that a total of 70 new violations have been found in 11 production sites since the release of the third report in May this year. The cumulative number of violations reached 197, involving 17 of the 22 strongholds in the country, equivalent to about 80 percent. Mitsubishi Electric has decided to impose additional penalties on 10 current and former directors to reduce their remuneration or ask for a refund.
