TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Just Energy Group Inc. ("Just Energy" or the "Company") (NEX:JE.H; OTC:JENGQ), a retail provider specializing in electricity and natural gas commodities and bringing energy efficient solutions and renewable energy options to customers, today announced that it voluntarily repaid US$70 million of principal plus accrued interest of the US$125 million debtor-in-possession term loan credit facility (the "DIP Facility") provided in connection with Just Energy's Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada) ("CCAA") proceedings commenced on March 9, 2021. The outstanding principal remaining under the DIP Facility is US$55 million.
