Landing International (00582.HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2022, the company's comprehensive income was about 690 million Hong Kong dollars, an increase of about 45.1 percent over the same period last year. The increase in consolidated income was mainly due to (I) a series of marketing activities that promoted local consumption in Jeju Myth World, which led to an increase in revenue generated by the integrated resort division and an increase in residential property sales activities (ii).
During the period, the loss attributable to the owners of the company was approximately HK $105 million (2021: approximately HK $624 million). Attributable to the increase in consolidated income, the decrease in amortization and depreciation, the fair value income of investment property, the absence of impairment of intangible assets and the reversal of impairment of trade and other receivables during the period, together with stringent cost control measures for operating expenses, the net consolidated loss for the period was significantly narrowed by about 83.1% compared with the same period in 2021.
