Today, at the Vitality Conference held by Today's Headline, Chen Lin made her first appearance as CEO of Today's Headline. Former CEO Zhang Yiming has stepped down. According to data, Chen Lin was born in 1983 and obtained a master's degree in computer science from Peking University in 2008. In March 2012, Chen Lin joined ByteDance as an early core employee and worked as a product manager for various core products, growing from product manager to general manager of today's headlines. Since November 2018, Chen Lin has held the position of CEO of Today's Headline.

According to Chen Lin, this ecological upgrade mainly includes three aspects: the first is to cultivate the fan ecosystem; the second is to launch mini-programs to introduce more platform ecosystem builders; and the third is to open up the technology model.

Today's headlines revealed the first batch of headline mini-programs that went live, including Headline Store, Cat's Eye Movie, Xiaomi Mall, and 58 Dongcheng Life Assistant. Chen Lin revealed that the headline mini-program will also launch Know Che Di, Ctrip Travel, Amoy Ticket, and Dr. Lilac in the future. Today's Headlines will provide eight important traffic entries for the Headline applet, including: article detail pages, micro headlines, small videos, search, account home pages, personal centers, wallets, and information stream ad slots.

According to reports, in the past year, the total revenue earned by authors on today's headline platform through content e-commerce reached 260 million. On today's headline platforms, authors earned a total of 5 million in 4 months by paying for content, and the revenue scale is expected to reach 200 million in the next year.
