Zhitong Financial App News, China Everbright Green (01257) announced interim results for 2022, with revenue of about HK $4.22 billion, down 2 per cent from the same period last year. The profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was about HK $372 million, down 47 per cent from the same period last year. Earnings per share were HK18 cents, with an interim dividend of HK3.6 cents per share.

According to the announcement, the decrease in earnings attributable to income and equity shareholders is mainly due to the group's active adjustment of the company's development strategy under changes in national policies and market conditions, resulting in a reduction in revenue and profits from construction services. The operation is also affected by the domestic epidemic, resulting in a substantial increase in the material cost of biomass comprehensive utilization plate, weak demand for hazardous waste and solid waste plate and continuous decline in unit price of treatment.
