In the past three years, NetEase, Inc has invested 32.9 billion in R & D, with more than 15000 R & D personnel, accounting for about 50 per cent.

According to the report, NetEase, Inc donated more than 80 million yuan to support major events such as the fight against epidemic and flood. In December 2021, Morgan Stanley Capital International Index upgraded NetEase, Inc's ESG rating to A level.

According to the ESG report, NetEase, Inc has more than 32000 full-time employees, with 25 per cent of senior management and about 35 per cent of IT employees.
