Qantang Holdings (01466.HK) announced on June 24 that the group expects to record a loss attributable to equity holders of the company for the year ended March 31, 2022, which is less than 70 per cent lower than the loss attributable to equity holders of the company for the year ended March 31, 2021, which is about HK $51.8 million.

The significant decrease in loss was mainly due to the following factors for the year ended 31 March 2022: (I) an increase in gross profit due to increased sales of pearl and jewellery products; (ii) no loss on the fair value of convertible loan instruments; (iii) no loss on the fair value of unlisted property funds; and (iv) a significant decrease in administrative expenses.
