At present, the liquid-cooled charging gun in our country mainly adopts the insulating oil-cooled line structure. Because the insulating oil has the characteristics of high ignition temperature, low specific heat capacity and safe and reliable insulation, compared with the water + refrigerant liquid-cooled line structure, the structure of insulated oil-cooled line is safer.
The field of liquid-cooled fast charge is in its infancy with great potential and broad prospects for development. In order to meet the requirements of consumers for charging efficiency, many automobile companies and manufacturers aim at the field of liquid-cooled fast charging. This technology well solves the heating and structural problems caused by power improvement, and is expected to become an ideal solution in the future. In February 2021, Tesla built a super charging pile factory in Shanghai, with an initial planned annual production capacity of 10000 super charging piles, mainly V3 super charging piles. XPeng Inc. also began to adopt the liquid-cooled heat dissipation technology of the charging gun, becoming the first car company in China to mass-produce and lay 480kW high-voltage charging piles. The company plans to cooperate to promote no less than 300 supercharging stations in Guangzhou, Guangdong and Hainan by the end of 2023, and 1000 overcharging stations in cities across the country by 2025.
The liquid-cooled fast charging technology developed by Rifeng Co., Ltd. is more advanced.
