On August 22, Geely Automobile announced its interim results in the afternoon. For the six months ending June 30, 2018, the Group achieved revenue of about 53.709 billion yuan, an increase of 36% over the previous year; the profit attributable to the company's shareholders was about 6.670 billion yuan, an increase of 54% over the previous year, and no interim dividends were paid.

In terms of sales, Geely sold 766,600 vehicles in the first half of the year, an increase of 44% over the previous year. Despite the downturn in the automobile industry in the first half of the year, Geely continued its strong product cycle and bucked the trend. (Editor: Lin Zhenyang)
