Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles from January to April were 1.605 million and 1.556 million. It is reported that automobile production and sales showed a marked decline in April 2022, with monthly production and sales of 1.2 million and 1.181 million vehicles, down 46.1 percent and 47.6 percent from the same period last year, which was the lowest monthly level in the past decade. Passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles showed a sharp decline compared with the same period last year.
