Glonghui, May 13, 丨 Sunshine Oil Sands (02012.HK) announced that in the first quarter of 2022, oil sales (excluding licensing fees) were $0, while oil sales for the three months ending March 31, 2021 were $140,000. Due to the temporary cessation of production on March 31, 2020, sales of diluted oil sands heavy oil fell by 100,000 Canadian dollars.

Due to the temporary cessation of production on March 31, 2020, sales per barrel of oil for the first quarter of 2022 were not disclosed. Oil sales for the same period in 2021 were $58.75 per barrel.

In the first quarter of 2022, net profit and comprehensive income attributable to the company's equity holders was approximately $56.3 million (approximately HK$353 million), an increase of 2265% over the same period of loss of $2.6 million in the first quarter of 2021.
