Sensor Tower store intelligence data show that in March 2022,$Tencent (00700.HK) $Arena of Valor has earned 272 million US dollars in global App Store and Google Play, topping the global best-selling list of mobile games, an increase of 5.8 per cent over the same period last year. Revenue from China's iOS market accounts for 96.6 per cent, while revenue from overseas markets accounts for 3.4 per cent.
Tencent's "PUBG Mobile" (combined "Game for Peace" income) ranked second on the list with an income of nearly 200 million US dollars. Of this, 56.4 per cent of revenue comes from its Chinese iOS version "Game for Peace", with the US market accounting for 9.5 per cent.
The other three games in the top five are Miha you "original God", King "Candy Crush Saga" and "Roblox".
In March 2022, global mobile game players spent $7 billion on App Store and Google Play, down 6.3 per cent from a year earlier. The United States remains the world's highest-revenue market for mobile games, contributing $1.9 billion, or 27.4 percent of global revenue. China's iOS market ranks second, accounting for 19.2%, while Japan's market ranks third, accounting for 19%.
