While global stock markets are still under pressure, signs from futures markets suggest bearish investor sentiment appears to be easing, according to Bloomberg.
The latest data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission show thatTotal bullish bets on stock futures and options in the US, Europe, emerging markets and Japan last week rose the most in nearly two years.
The MSCI global stock index has fallen 3 per cent so far this month amid concerns about the potential for economic growth amid soaring inflation and the continuing impact of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
