Glonway March 30丨China Glass (03300.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2021, the company's revenue increased to RMB 5.065 billion, an increase of about 60%. Revenue growth is mainly due to a combination of factors such as a 49% increase in the average annual sales price compared to last year due to the rise in glass market prices this year and an 8% increase in sales volume compared to last year.

The company changed from a loss of approximately RMB 98.48 million in 2020 to a profit of approximately RMB 802 million, with a final dividend of HK$0.05 per share. Profits rose sharply, mainly due to: (1) the Group's average sales price, sales volume and gross margin increased due to the strong overall performance of the glass market; (2) the increase in the Group's effective production capacity led to economies of scale; and (3) the optimization of the Group's internal management level made the total increase percentage of various costs and expenses lower than the percentage of revenue growth, and the Group's profitability increased markedly.

The Group produced a total of 409.93 million heavy boxes of various types of glass in 2021, up 15% from last year, and sales volume of 39.4 million heavy boxes, up 8% from last year. The average sales price of the Group's various glass products in 2021 was RMB 123 per heavy box, up 49% from last year.
