During the year ended December 31, 2021, the total cargo throughput of the Group was about 4104 kilotons, a decrease of about 566 kilotons or about 12.1% compared with about 4670 kilotons for the year ended 31 December 2020. The decline in cargo throughput was due to reduced demand, which was mainly affected by the continued outbreak of 2019-nCoV and the increase in customer procurement costs, in particular commodity prices and transportation costs.
