Zhitong Financial APP News, Shipping Port (08502) released its results for the year ended December 31, 2021, with earnings of 166 million yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 10.2 percent over the same period last year; profit attributable to company owners was 57.206 million yuan, an increase of 28.3 percent over the same period last year; and basic earnings per share were 7.15 cents.

During the period, the increase in revenue was mainly due to an increase in revenue from cargo handling, due to an increase of about 4.3 million tons in cargo throughput over last year. The increase in cargo throughput was mainly driven by the rebound in market demand after the epidemic and the gradual recovery of China's domestic and foreign trade.
