01145.HK announced on March 22 that for the 12 months ended December 31, 2021, the company's total revenue was 9.738 million US dollars, an increase of 22.95 percent over the same period last year. The profit attributable to the company's owners was 10.488 million US dollars, compared with a loss of 3.47 million US dollars in the same period last year.

The turnround of the Group's results was mainly due to (I) the reversal of a ship impairment loss of US $13.43 million (2020: an impairment loss of US $2.76 million); and (ii) an increase in profit contributed by the shipping business of US $3.938 million (2020: us $171.6); and a partial offset of (iii) of US $5.36 million (2020: nil) recognised credit loss on debt instruments held by the Group at year-end fair value included in other comprehensive income.
