Recently, the official website of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) published a list of five Chinese securities firms. According to the SEC, based on the Foreign Company Accountability Act (HFCAA), if a foreign listed company fails to submit the report required by the US Public Company Accounting Supervisory Board for three consecutive years, the SEC has the right to delist it from the exchange. The SEC finalized this provisional list on March 8, which includes BeiGene, Yum China, Zaiding Pharmaceutical, Shengmei Semiconductor, and Huang Pharmaceutical. These five companies can provide evidence to the SEC by March 29 to prove that they are not eligible to be delisted.
