Monday (February 28), Southbound Capital made a net purchase of HK$883 million. BYD shares, Pharmaceutical Biotech, and China Electric received net purchases of HK$270 million, HK$236 million, and HK$228 million respectively. In terms of net sales, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Great Wall Motor, and Country Garden Services received net sales of HK$280 million, HK$264 million, and HK$166 million respectively.
Northbound Capital entered the market sharply at the end of the session, and there was a rush for funds in collective bidding. Net purchases were 2,047 billion yuan throughout the day. Of these, Shanghai Stock Connect made a net purchase of 1,708 million yuan and Shenzhen Stock Connect made a net purchase of 339 million yuan.
Three Gorges Energy, Zijin Mining, and Ganfeng Lithium ranked in the top three in net purchases, receiving net purchases of 365 million yuan, 244 million yuan, and 169 million yuan respectively.
Thetop three stocks sold were Ping An of China, Oriental Wealth, and Aier Ophthalmology, which received net sales of 441 million yuan, 204 million yuan, and 153 million yuan respectively.
