's Texas super factory about to begin operation, the company has ordered large parts to diversify the supply of key components for electric vehicles.
According to another report, if the supply contract is completed in the first quarter, LG Innotek will become Tesla, Inc. 's core parts supplier, and the production is expected to take place at its Mexican plant. LG Innotek has been supplying Tesla, Inc. since last year, but the supply is only tens of billions of won. If this contract is successfully completed, the transaction volume will be 10 times that of last year.
At present, South Korean companies are gradually taking more and more share in Tesla, Inc. 's parts supply chain. Last year, Tesla, Inc. signed a 490 billion won camera module supply contract with Samsung Electric.
