12:45 AM EST, 01/04/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Razer (HKG:1337) renewed its technology license deal with THX that expired on Dec. 31, 2021, according to a late Monday disclosure.
Under the new contract, the gaming hardware manufacturer is authorized to integrate THX's surround sound audio software and components into its products until Dec. 31, 2024.
Technology licensing transactions between Razer and THX have an annual limit of $5.6 million, $7.9 million and $11 million for 2022, 2023 and 2024, respectively.
The stock inched down over 2% in Tuesday's afternoon trade.
