Chenlin Education (01593.HK) announced that in the eight months to the end of August this year, income recorded 218 million yuan (the same below), a loss of 18.72 million yuan, a basic loss of 0.02 yuan per share, no dividend.
For the year ended December last year, the income was 288 million yuan and the net profit was 77.459 million yuan.
In the first eight months of this year, a total of 23659 students were enrolled, representing an increase of about 140.22% over the same period last year. The average tuition fee for undergraduate majors increases by about 6.64% year-on-year, while the average tuition fee for junior college majors decreases by about 36.42%.
In June this year, the Group announced that it would change the end date of the financial year from the end of December to the end of August, in order to make the end date of the Group's financial year consistent with the school year in which the Group operates schools in China ending in August each year.
