Zhitong Financial and Economic APP News, Tianli Education (01773) issued an announcement that as the regulations on the implementation of the Private Education Promotion Law of the people's Republic of China came into effect on September 1st, 2021, the Group is still discussing with the company auditors the possible impact of the implementation regulations on the relevant accounting treatment of the Group's annual results for the eight months ended August 31, 2021 (2021), and no agreement has been reached as of the date of this announcement. As a result, the company is unable to publish its annual results for 2021 before 30 November 2021 in accordance with rules 13.49 (1) and 13.49 (2) of the listing rules. The company acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the relevant listing rules and will do its best to release the 2021 annual results to shareholders as soon as practicable. The company will issue a separate announcement in due course to inform its shareholders and potential investors of the expected date of annual results for 2021.

Despite the delay in the release of annual results for 2021, the Group's business operations remained normal as at the date of this announcement.

In addition, at the request of the company, trading in the company's shares will be temporarily suspended on the Stock Exchange with effect from 09:00 on November 29th, 2021, pending the announcement of the 2021 annual results.
