Gelonghui 24 November, the profit-making Maritime (02682.HK) noticeInterim results for the six months ended September 30, 2021The company realized income of about HK $145.5 million, an increase of 45.24% over the same period last year.During the period attributable to the owners of the company, the net profit increased by 25.4% year-on-year to about HK $13.033 million.Basic earnings per share is about HK1.30 cents (2020: HK1.04 cents). The Board does not recommend the payment of an interim dividend for the six months ended 30 September 2021.

The group's total revenue increased by 45.2%, mainly due to the increase in revenue from ship charter and related services provided to major maritime construction projects and other short-term maritime service projects.

As the Hong Kong Government has launched a number of high-profile development projects and infrastructure projects related to marine construction projects in recent years, the management of the Group expects that the demand for ship chartering and related services from marine construction projects will increase steadily, it is expected that the relevant projects will be conducive to the future earnings of the Group. The Group will continue to invest in its fleet to take advantage of these business opportunities. It is expected that the revenue and profit of the Group's ship management business will remain stable.
