Mobile phone screen glass supplier Bourne Optics sought to pass the Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing hearing on Friday (19th) and is expected to raise 1 billion to 2 billion US dollars. J.P. Morgan Chase, HSBC and CICC are co-sponsors.

Bourne Optics is the world's largest manufacturer of screen glass for mobile phones. In addition to supplying screens to Apple phones, it is also a supplier to Samsung. According to the preliminary prospectus, the proceeds raised from the IPO will be used to develop new materials, new technologies and new businesses; it will also further develop automobile-related businesses, such as providing a one-stop exterior structure and module solution for vehicle screens and touch panels.
