Zhitong Financial APP learned that according to the disclosure of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 4, Tak Ying Holdings International Limited submitted an application for listing on the main board to the Hong Kong Exchange, with Everbright Securities as its exclusive sponsor.
According to the prospectus, Tak Ying Holdings International is a role intellectual property company mainly engaged in (1) role licensing business: creating, designing and licensing self-created B.Duck family roles across multiple channels, as well as brand management and marketing for those roles. The company grants B.Duck family roles and brands to licensees to provide product design application services; (2) e-commerce and other businesses: design, develop and purchase products featuring B.Duck family roles, and retail such products through a number of commodity authorization channels.
According to the Frost Sullivan report, the company is the second largest domestic role intellectual property company in terms of role licensing revenue in 2020, while in terms of sales in 2020, it is the largest market participant in Tmall's women's wear section with its own domestic role intellectual property e-commerce. According to Tmall's "double 11" IP e-commerce index report, according to the preferences of consumers born after 1990, the company also ranked first among Tmall's top 10 intellectual property rights in 2020.
Financially, in the financial year 2018-2020, the company's revenue was about HK $201 million, HK $243 million and HK $234 million respectively, and the profits attributable to the owners of the company from 2018 to 2020 were HK $9.862 million, HK $24.102 million and HK $54.548 million respectively.
