Singapore Shares Flat in Mixed Trade -- Market Talk
0116 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index is flat at 3231.54 in morning trade after opening higher amid mixed trade. Heavyweight bank stocks are mixed. OCBC gains 0.1% and UOB declines 0.2% after both banks reported their 3Q earnings before the market opened. DBS advances 0.5%. Among property stocks, Hongkong Land rises 1.1%, UOL Group is flat and CapitaLand Investment rises 0.3%. REITs are broadly lower, with Ascendas REIT falling 0.7%, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust off 0.5% while Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust gains 0.7%. (justina.lee@wsj.com)
