Beiersdorf AG is moving to the DAX index, replacing Deutsche Wohnen SE, German stock-exchange operator Deutsche Boerse AG said late Tuesday.

Because of the takeover by Vonovia SE, the minimum free float of 10% is no longer met at residential-property company Deutsche Wohnen, Deutsche Boerse said.

Personal-care-products maker Beiersdorf is currently part of the MDAX, where Talanx AG is joining to replace it. In turn, Basler AG will replace Talanx in the SDAX.

The changes will be effective Friday, Deutsche Boerse said.
