Ginkgo Education (01851.HK) announced that on September 27th, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Chengdu Ginkgo Hotel Management College ("Ginkgo College"), entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Chengdu Rongchuang Cultural Tourism Management Co., Ltd. ("Chengdu Rongchuang").

The cooperation under the strategic cooperation agreement mainly includes the following areas: (1) the development of training facilities and the training of cultural and tourism personnel, and the parties have agreed to jointly set up a cultural and tourism personnel training center. Chengdu Sunac will provide a high-quality internship platform for cultural and tourism vocational education and training. (2) to develop the literature and tourism curriculum, the parties agree to jointly develop the literature and tourism curriculum for senior high school, and train double-duty teachers through the internship platform, so as to master the basic knowledge and skills needed for the design, development and implementation of the literature and tourism curriculum in the real situation. (3) to implement the cultural tourism project, Ginkgo biloba College can participate in the planning and implementation of a number of cultural tourism projects organized by Chengdu Rongchuang as desired. (4) to organize special activities for literature and tourism major, Chengdu Rongchuang and Ginkgo biloba College can jointly hold literature and tourism promotion activities with the name of Chengdu Rong.

Chengdu Rongchuang is mainly engaged in the operation and development of Chengdu Rongchuang Wenlu City, which is a comprehensive development project located in Chengdu, China, covering cultural tourism, commercial and residential development. Chengdu Rongchuang is a subsidiary of Rongchuang Culture Travel Group, mainly engaged in real estate development.

According to the announcement, the Group is committed to developing and providing tourism management courses to promote synergy with the Group in providing hotel management education courses. In view of the national strategy of focusing on developing and nurturing the tourism industry, the directors are optimistic about the development of tourism management education and training business. The Group is convinced of the importance of providing internship experience to students in its educational courses and has been working with enterprises in the market to provide students with useful educational work experience. The partnership with Chengdu Rongchuang not only provides a quality internship platform for students joining the education and training courses offered by Ginkgo College, but also enables students to gain practical work experience, thereby enhancing the quality of the Group's courses and increasing enrolment rates. In view of the above, the Directors consider that the cooperation under the Strategic Cooperation Agreement will bring synergy benefits to the Group and provide a good opportunity for the Group to broaden its revenue base and enhance shareholder value.
