Recently, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the opinions on promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Vocational Education.

The opinion points out that by 2025, the modern vocational education system will be basically completed, and the enrollment scale of vocational undergraduate education will not be less than 10% of the enrollment scale of higher vocational education.Listed companies and leading enterprises in the industry are encouraged to conduct vocational education, and all kinds of enterprises are encouraged to participate in conducting vocational education in accordance with the law.

So, what vocational education stocks are worth paying attention to in Hong Kong stocks?According to statistics, there are 14 concept companies related to vocational education in Hong Kong stocks, including China Oriental Education, the parent company of New Oriental Education & Technology Group cuisine, China Education Holdings, a listed higher and vocational education group with the largest number of students in China, and Neusoft Education, a private higher education group such as IT.

China Oriental Education focuses on vocational skills education, mainly covering four industries: cooking technology, information technology and Internet technology, car maintenance and fashion and beauty industry. As of June 30, 2021, the Group operates 218 schools and centres, with an average training attendance and customer registration of 143348 for the six months ended June 30, 2021.

China Education Holdings is a global higher and vocational education group, as well as the listed higher and vocational education group with the largest number of students in China. As at February 28, 2021, the Group had about 250300 students, including about 183400 in the higher Education Division, 63700 in the Vocational Education Division and 3244 in the International Education Division.

Neusoft Education is the leading IT private higher education group in China, operating three universities, including Dalian College, Chengdu College and Guangdong College. As of June 30, 2021, Neusoft Education had a total of 39084 students, an increase of 10.4% over the number of students on June 30, 2020.
