According to the announcement, the net loss for the year was mainly due to deductions for the following: the hotel hospitality business had no goodwill impairment loss of about HK $57 million; the permanent title land and building impairment loss of the hotel hospitality business decreased by about HK $55.8 million; and the impairment loss on loans receivable was reversed to about HK $8.8 million.
