TeslaCEO Elon Musk said on Monday that the company had not yet decided on the location of its fourth "superfactory" in the world.

Musk is on Twitter.It responded to a question from a fan who mentioned media reports about Tesla, Inc. 's plans to build a super factory in Russia. The report quoted unnamed sources from the Russian government as saying that Tesla, Inc. had chosen Russia's Korolyov as the site of his next super factory.

But Mr Musk's words seemed to imply that Tesla, Inc. was exploring options for the next superfactory, but denied that Russia had been chosen as the final site.

Tesla, Inc. has ambitious expansion plans and is said to be looking for a location for the next superfactory. Mr Musk has said in the past that he plans to build a super factory on every continent where the company sells cars.

The company is currently building new superplants in Texas and Berlin, Germany, and is expanding capacity at its Fremont assembly plant and Shanghai super plant.

It is not clear what Musk means by "the fourth" superfactory, as Tesla, Inc. has announced five superfactories in New York, Nevada, Shanghai, Berlin and Texas. the latter two plants are under construction. Maybe Musk was wrong, or he wanted to say "country", not "place".
