Yesterday, Tencent issued a notice on the restrictions on minors' games during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which made it clear that during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, online games operated by Tencent games in Chinese mainland area will continue to implement restrictions on playing minors' games.

The details are as follows: minors can log in to the game between 20:00 and 21:00 every day from September 17 (Friday) and September 19-21 (Mid-Autumn Festival holiday), while they will not be able to enter the game experience on September 18 (Saturday, working day).

Following Tencent's game, NetEase, Inc also issued a notice on the time limit for minors' games during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, saying that during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the time restrictions for minors' games will be as follows:

1. The date on which minors can experience the game from 20:00 to 21:00 on that day: September 17 (Friday), September 19 to September 21 (Mid-Autumn Festival holiday); second, the date on which minors are unable to experience the game: September 18 (Saturday, working days).

These arrangements are based on the relevant requirements of the notice of the State Press and publication Administration on further strict management and effective prevention of minors from indulging in online games, and combined with the arrangements made by the actual holiday.

It is reported that the State Press and publication Administration issued the above notice on August 30, aiming at the problem of minors overusing or even indulging in online games, further strict management measures, including game time, real-name authentication of accounts, standardized payment and so on.

According to the notice, all online game companies can only provide one-hour online game service to minors from 20:00 to 21:00 every day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. At the same time, all online games must be connected to the online game addiction real name verification system of the State Press and publication Administration, and all online game users must use real and effective identity information to register their game accounts and log in to online games.
