Apollo Global Management, a private equity firm, announced earlier this month that it had completed its acquisition of Yahoo from Verizon Communications Inc in a deal worth about $5 billion.
Today, Yahoo CEO Gu ran Pan said in a memo to employees that the company has opened a new chapter in history and that this is a natural transition time. To this end, Gu Lanpan will be transferred to a senior consultant of Apollo Global Management.
