DJ Google Delays Voluntary Return-To-Office Until Jan. 10

Google is delaying its planned return to the office for corporate staff until Jan. 10, becoming the latest large company to extend work-from-home protocols amid rising Covid-19 infections and hospitalizations.

The Alphabet (https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/GOOG) Inc. subsidiary said Tuesday that it wants to give employees more flexibility as the pandemic continues. In addition to delaying its return to work, it will provide staff with holidays on Oct. 22 and Dec. 17 this year to "reset and recharge."
