00582.HK announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2021, its income was 477 million Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 81.82 percent over the same period last year. The owner of the parent company should account for a loss of 624 million Hong Kong dollars for the period, a year-on-year decrease of 21.27 percent, and a basic loss of 17.16 Hong Kong cents per share.

The increase in consolidated income during the period, together with stringent cost control measures for operating expenses, resulted in a reduction of about 21.3% in the net consolidated loss during the period compared with the same period in 2020, the announcement said.
