Zhitong Financial App News, Fuyuan International Group (00542) reported results for the six months ended June 30, 2021, with an income of HK $8.16 million, down 94.4% from a year earlier; a loss attributable to shareholders of HK $107 million, an increase of 341.3% over the same period last year; and a basic loss of HK1.5 cents per share.

The loss during the period was mainly due to, among other things, an increase in financial costs resulting from borrowing to finance certain property development projects, and an increase in sales, marketing and publicity expenses related to the sale of properties for sale.
