Gelonghui 30 August? Xinjiang Xinxin Mining (03833.HK) announced its interim results. For the six months ended June 30, 2021, the group recorded a consolidated operating income of RMB 1.157 billion, a sharp increase of 83.1% over the consolidated operating income of RMB 632 million recorded in the same period last year. The consolidated net profit attributable to the company's shareholders was RMB 231 million, while the consolidated net loss attributable to the company's shareholders was RMB 62.3 million in the same period last year.

The group's consolidated operating performance increased significantly during the period, mainly due to: (1) the sales volume of electrolytic nickel during the period was about 5879 tons, compared with 3870 tons in the same period last year, an increase of about 51.9%. (2) the average sales prices of electrolytic nickel and cathode copper were about 120055 yuan and 59938 yuan per ton during the period, compared with 89908 yuan and 38051 yuan per ton in the same period last year, up about 33.5% and 57.5% respectively. And (3) the financial expenses during the period are about 37.7 million yuan, which is about 12.4 million yuan (that is, about 24.8%) less than that of 50.1 million yuan in the same period last year.

During the period, the basic income per share attributable to the shareholders of the company was 0.104 yuan, compared with a basic loss of 0.028 yuan per share in the same period last year.
