Gelonghui August 26th 丨Chief Executive Officer Bao Jia (00103.HK) announced that in the six months ended June 30, 2021, continuing operations achieved turnover of HK$1,283 million, up 48.7% year on year; gross profit of HK$227 million, up 48.5% year on year; profit attributable to owners of HK$52.56 million, up 45.7% year on year; and basic profit of HK$2.75 per share.

During the reporting period, based on the efforts of the Group's management, sales team and employees, the Steel Cord Division sold 105,947 tons of steel cords during this period, up 27.0% from 83,405 tons in the same period last year. In terms of sales of cut steel wire products, sales volume rose sharply by 76.2% from 143 tons in the same period last year to 252 tons due to the Group's unremitting efforts to develop new customers and the improvement in the photovoltaic, sapphire and magnetic materials markets. The sales volume of other steel wires increased from 4,410 tons in the same period to 4,560 tons, an increase of 3.4%.
