00929.HK announced that in the six months ended June 30, 2021, revenue reached HK $518 million, an increase of 53.21% over the same period last year; profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was HK $30.201 million, up 1041.81% over the same period last year; and basic earnings per share were HK2.9 cents.

The announcement said that as the global COVID-19 epidemic has been brought under control, domestic and foreign manufacturing industries have begun to recover, and foreign customer orders have gradually recovered, especially in automobile and hydraulic customers, which have returned to pre-epidemic levels. The auto parts business recorded sales of HK $279.6 million in the first half of 2021, an increase of 54.7 per cent over the same period last year.

At the same time, the company actively carried out strategic adjustment, the development of domestic hydraulic customers, hydraulic business sales achieved an ideal increase. In order to ensure the continued growth of orders, the company actively developed new customers, led by customers in the hydraulic industry, laying the foundation for the hydraulic industry market. As a result, the hydraulic parts business achieved sales revenue of HK $164.1 million in the first half of the year, an increase of 84.8% over the same period last year.
