Vodafone Romania and Digi Romania have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) on October 31, 2024, regarding the potential acquisition of separate parts of OTE's wholly-owned subsidiary Telekom Romania Mobile Communications (TKRM).Under the proposed arrangement, Vodafone could acquire TKRM including a significant portion of its assets, while Digi could acquire certain TKRM assets.
