Sunlight Real Estate Investment Trust (Sunlight REIT) announced on October 28, 2024 that the manager, Henderson Sunlight Asset Management Limited, has received a total of 12,656,360 new fund units as 50% payment for the manager's fees for the fourth and fifth quarters of the 2024 fiscal year. The new fund units represent approximately 0.73% of the issued fund units. In addition, the manager received HK$11,453,400.02 and HK$11,517,963.32 in cash in October and August of the same year respectively, as the cash portion of the corresponding quarterly manager fees. After the issuance of new fund units, the manager's total fund units held increased to approximately 13.63%. This payment method for fees is in accordance with the trust deed and relevant provisions of the 'Real Estate Fund Rules', and is based on the property values and net property income disclosed in the most recent interim report/audited annual accounts of Sunlight REIT.
