Maxeon Solar Technologies has appointed Wang Yanjun and Wang Cheng as new Board members effective October 3, 2024, with Wang Cheng also named as chairman of the Strategy & Transformation Committee. The appointments follow the resignations of Shen Haoping and Li Dongsheng, who stepped down on September 23, 2024.Wang Yanjun, currently serving as CEO of TZE, brings extensive experience from his tenure since 2006, where he progressed through roles including chief engineer and manufacturing department head before becoming vice president in 2017. He oversees TZE's industrial development and operational management.Wang Cheng serves as Chief Operating Officer of TCL Technology Group since 2021 and holds several industry leadership positions, including Deputy Chairman of the First High-end Manufacturing Industry Committee of the China Association for Public Companies. Both appointments are made pursuant to the Shareholders Agreement with TZE and TotalEnergies entities.
