Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited ("the Company") announced the unaudited interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2024. During the period, the Group achieved total comprehensive income of HKD 12,686.8 million, an increase of 4.5% compared to the same period in 2023. The profit attributable to equity holders of the Company increased by 41.0% to HKD 1,962.5 million. Basic earnings per share were 22.03 HK cents, compared to 15.63 HK cents for the same period in 2023. The gross margin of the cecep solar energy glass business of the Group improved, while the gross margin contribution of the cecep solar energy power plant business slightly decreased. The Group declared an interim dividend of 10.0 HK cents per share during the reporting period and offered shareholders the option to receive the dividend in cash or shares. The board of directors has resolved the cut-off date for the shareholder register as August 19, 2024, and expects to pay the interim dividend on October 16.
